Present your cheese, tapas, dippers with this Boska cheese board/tapas board Friends M. This rectangular wooden board has a length of 53 cm, including handle. The cheese and tapas board is made from European oak: a hard type of wood that is not affected by odours or bacteria. In addition, you can also use it as a cutting board. All ingredients are there to enjoy a nice cheese, tapas or snack board!
The handle is a practical addition to the board. As such serving your cheese will be a lot easier. In addition, you can also hang the board from its handle if you don’t use it. It will look amazing in your kitchen. You can, however, also easily store it in your kitchen cabinets.
## Cleaning the cutting board
To make sure your board stays in great shape maintenance is key! Fortunately, this isn’t as time consuming as you might think. Clean the board after use by rinsing it off under the tap. Afterwards dry it properly. Never put the board in the dishwasher! Place it upright (or hang it) to make sure it dries properly.
## Adding oil to your board
A wooden cutting board needs to be maintained. To make sure it stays in great shape, we recommend adding oil to both sides of the board. It makes cleaning the board easier, the wood won’t dry out and it also makes sure scratches are less visible. When adding oil to a cutting board it is best if you use a flavourless and odourless oil. Almond or grapeseed oil, for instance. (Please note: we don’t recommend using almond oil if you are allergic to nuts). White mineral oil is also a good option, but we recommend [Eden Cutting Board Oil]( /en/pt/-eden-essentials-mineral-oil-for-wooden-cutting-boards-120-ml.htm). Do not use olive oil because it gets sticky and dirty. Something you wish to avoid, of course. You need to add oil to your board approx. once a month. You can read more about [maintaining your cutting board](/en/ct/how-do-you-maintain-a-wooden-cutting-board.htm) in this article.
