The **Ohta Light Folder OLF** was designed and made by hand by Hiroaki Ohta. A nice and fine pocket knife. Stylish and light-weight. You open the knife with two hands and a slipjoint provides resistance when you close it. Because of this combination you can legally carry the Ohta Light Folder in many places in Europe.
The Ohta Light Folder is a traditional gentleman’s knife. Stylish and fine in terms of design. Use it to peel an apple or open a box or letter. The blade is made from D2 steel. A tough type of steel which has been popular for a really long time. It retains its sharpness well and is also easy to sharpen with the right means. You do, however, have to be careful around acids, salt and moisture: D2 is not completely stainless. So clean the blade after use.
## Desert Ironwood
This type of wood is known as a wonderful material for handles. The pattern of the wood, the density and hardness are all qualities that make it very desirable. A fine polish completes the whole. The handle is made from one piece of desert ironwood.
**Please note:** this is a natural product. Each knife is unique and the pattern on the wood can vary.
