The **Case Mini Trapper** is a traditional pocket knife with a classic Trapper shape. This is a pattern that has its origins amongst hunters and poachers. This specific version has two blades: one classic clippoint and one traditional speypoint. Both blades can be used to gut caught game. When opened they are kept in place by a slipjoint. It is also enhanced with a so-called half-stop. This means that it will stop half-way through closing to make sure you can get your fingers out of the way.
## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel
The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. Characterizing about this type of steel is that you can quickly sharpen it and have a razor-sharp knife.
## Pocket Worn Olive Green Bone, Peach Seed Jig
The handle is made from *Pocket Worn Olive Green Bone, Peach Seed Jig*. This is basically cow bone that is enhanced with an interesting texture. Afterwards it is enhanced with a nice colour and polished. This is a truly classic type of handle material which radiates class and elegance. It nicely matches the Case knives. In this case the knife is enhanced with a *Peach Seed* texture. It looks a lot like the texture of a peach pit.
The addition ‘Pocket Worn’ means that a little more attention was paid to the finish. As such the knife looks even more beautifully worn in. As if years of carrying it in your pocket polished it.
## Case Knives: traditional pocket knives
Case has been producing pocket knives ever since 1889. Each pocket knife is assembled and finished by hand, relatively unique for an American brand. As a result each Case knife is unique. Case knives are incredibly collectible and a great addition to your standard EDC pocket knife. Great as a gift, both for yourself or someone else.
