The **CRKT Tuna 2520** is a cool and practical EDC pocket knife, designed by Lucas Burnley. When you look at the shape you immediately notice it: this knife was built for speed. For that leap forwards. Just like the Bluefin tuna it’s named after. One of the strongest predatory fish in the sea, as a source of inspiration for a work knife for daily use.
The CRKT Tuna is perfect for many different tasks. From opening boxes to peeling an apple, and from a practical knife in your tool box to a loyal companion during walks and hikes. You open the Tuna with the thumb stud. The blade opens quickly and when opened it is locked by a solid, steel framelock. The addition of the *overtravel stop* is very clever. It prevents the framelock from overstretching to make sure the lock will stay in great shape for years to come.
For a modern look Burnley enhanced the Tuna with two different scales. The show side is made from G10 and the lock side from stainless steel. In between you will find an aluminium backspacer that is in nice contrast with both parts. This also looks great in the *pivot collar*. The blade is made from simple 8Cr14CoMov steel: simple, stainless, tough and easy to sharpen. Simply good for a knife like this.
All in all the CRKT Tuna is one of the most appealing EDC pocket knives in the CRKT range. All-round, stylish and practical. And all that for an amazing price.
