The **Zero Tolerance 0006** is a large and robust survival knife. 100% a Zero Tolerance as we have come to know them! Built to be used. Whether that’s a survival trip, camping trip or professional use. The 0006 was inspired by the ZT-9 bayonet. Originally a Mick Strider design. The name of the 0006 is therefore inspired by the 6-inch blade of this ZT-9.
The full-tang blade is made from CPM 3V steel. This is an extremely tough, strong, and American type of steel. CPM 3V retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen. You do need to be careful with acids, salt and moisture: CPM 3V is not completely stainless. However, Zero Tolerance solved that problem with a sleek, dark-grey Cerakote coating.
The handle is made from olive-green G10. With large grooves for extra grip. The guard and pommel of the handle are made from stainless steel with a sandblasted finish. The finish of the guard and pommel looks great. Really nicely done.
The sheath is made from kydex. The knife snaps into the sheath with a solid click. A loop with press stud ensures the knife is extra secure inside the sheath. The sheath has cut-outs, so you can attach the knife to a backpack or MOLLE vest.
