The **KA-BAR Camp Turok 7511** is a robust and all-round fixed knife designed by Jesse Jarosz. It is the upgraded version of the popular Jarosz Turok 7503. The Camp Turok is bigger, longer and heavier, but not any less practical. It is a camping knife you can use to turn wood into kindling, but also to cut potatoes or onions for a nice stew. A type of camping kitchen knife!
## KA-BAR 7511 Camp Turok blade
The full-tang blade is made from 1095 Cro-Van steel. This is strong, tough type of steel, but it is not stainless. Fortunately the blade is enhanced with a black coating to make sure maintenance is a lot easier. This knife comes with a Celcon sheath.
The blade is 5 mm thick, but has an almost full-flat grind. This means that the knife is very thin at the edge. As such this camping knife can also function as a cooking knife, suited for the finer tasks in your camp.
## KA-BAR Camp Turok handle made from Ultramid
The handle is made fromo Ultramid. A rock-solid type of plastic that is waterproof and can handle its own. The handle material shows you that this knife is made to be used. Thanks to the finger groove at the front of the handle you have a lot of control over the long blade.
