The **ANV Z050** is a stylish slipjoint pocket knife, made in the Czech Republic by Acta Non Verba Knives. The Z050 is modern. There’s no doubt about it. It has a fresh, minimalist design and is made from the latest materials, like the Swiss Super-LumiNova inlay in the nail nick. This material lights up in the dark and is often used for the dials of high-end watches. A cool detail!
The blade is made from Sleipner steel. This is an Austrian tool steel with exceptional sharpness retention. But do note: Sleipner steel is not completely stainless. So make sure you dry the knife properly after use. The knife has an elegant sheepsfoot blade with a slipjoint locking mechanism. This lock only offers some resistance to keep the knife from closing. It isn’t a full lock, which means this knife can be carried legally almost anywhere. You open the Z050 with two hands with the help of the nail nick. You can tell that ANV has paid close attention to the details. The spine of the blade is nicely rounded to prevent unnecessary sharp edges. It also features an engraving of the words ‘Acta Non Verba’.
The handle is made from solid aluminium. You carry the Z050 in your pocket with the deep-carry wire pocket clip. This is located at the end of the handle and is kept in place with the help of the stand-off. You can switch the clip for left-handed use.
