The **Condor Trelken 114.3-5SS** is a remarkable fixed knife, designed by Walter Matthews. For this knife he became inspired by a traditional knife from Chile.
Here the knife is used to ‘cut the leather from game’, so when gutting game. It is remarkable how thin the blade is. As such it is amazing to use. This, however, does mean it is not really suited for the more demanding tasks.
The blade is made from 420C-steel. A stainless, tough type of steel that is easy to sharpen. The handle is made from American hickory wood. A strong type of wood that is also used for axe handles. The spine of the blade is enhanced with a type of serrations, even though these are not really sharp.
The Condor Trelken comes with a leather belt sheath. This sheath has a belt loop with enough room for belts up to 5.5 cm wide.
