The coarse diamond-coated particles of the **TSPROF Blitz diamond-coated sharpening stone extra coarse** remove a lot of material. As such the stone is great when repairing extremely blunt or even damaged knives. This sharpening stone is also great when changing the sharpening angle.
## Grain size FEPA-F

This sharpening stone has a grain size of F150. This corresponds with a Japanese sharpening stone of approx. 180 grit. In both cases it is an extremely coarse sharpening stone that quickly removes material.
## Use and maintenance
The stones don’t need water or oil. You can, however, choose to still use water or oil. So in the end it comes down to personal preference! As you use them the sharpening stones can be contaminated with metal particles. Fortunately you can easily remove those with hot water and a sponge. The diamond layer on this sharpening stones is relatively thin. To enjoy the stones as long as possible we recommend not applying too much pressure during use. Let the stone do the work!
